Grappa Riserva Badia a Coltibuono is made from the artisanal processing of the pomace, distilled with a discontinuous method: warm, spicy and with an evolved taste. 18 months in 225-liter oak barrels.

Lunch, at our restaurant, of three courses (entré or pasta course, second course, dessert) served with a tasting of three wines.

Afterwards, guided tour of the former abbey, its renaissance gardens, frescoed salons, cloister and historical ageing cellars.

Classes start at 10 am with a guided tour of the abbey, its renaissance gardens, frescoed salons, cloister and historical ageing cellars. By 10.30 class begins, it will end after lunch with coffee and grappa served in the large fireplace room.

Classes include cooking lesson, dining, wines, guided visit, recipes, a diploma and the apron.

A brief and intense program to experiment and learn, in two days of residency, four different menus, while living at the Villa.

Lessons are held by Benedetta and the villa’s kitchen cooks. We teach bread making, breadsticks, focaccia (flat bread), different types of handmade pasta, meats, cheeses, greens, vegetables, legumes, cereals, olive oil and understanding our wines. Ingredients are local and organic. Recipes are easily reproduced at home, suitable for friends and family members on special occasions.

The Cooking Experience includes 3 nights in Camera Classic (garden view), breakfast and dinner
